Inviting Online Applications for National Entrance Test for Scheme for Residential Education for Students in High Classes in Targeted Areas (SHRESHTA (NETS))-2024 Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has entrusted the responsibility of conducting National Entrance Test for Scheme for Residential Education for Students in Higher Classes in Targeted Areas (SHRESHTA (NETS))- 2024. Scheme for Residential Education for Students in Higher Classes in Targeted Areas (SHRESHTA) provides for high quality education for meritorious Scheduled Castes (SCs) students only, in CBSE-affiliated reputed residential schools.

Approximately 3,000 seats would be provided in class 9th and 11th fully funded by the Central Government. The National Entrance Test for SHRESTHA (NETS) will be conducted in offline mode by National Testing agency (NTA) towards the admission for class 9th and 11th for Schedule caste Students. Where the parent Income is less than 2.5 lakh per year. There will be no Application Fee to paid by candidate.

ప్రతిభావంతులైన షెడ్యూల్డ్‌ కులాలకు చెందిన పేద విద్యార్థులకు గుడ్‌న్యూస్‌. శ్రేష్ఠ పథకం కింద ప్రైవేటు సీబీఎస్‌ఈ రెసిడెన్షియల్‌ పాఠశాలల్లో 9, 11వ తరగతుల్లో ప్రవేశాలకు దరఖాస్తులు మొదలయ్యాయి.
 ప్రతిభ ఉన్నా.. ఆర్థిక స్థోమత లేక కార్పొరేట్‌ విద్యకు దూరమవుతోన్న ఎస్సీ విద్యార్థులకు ఇదో సువర్ణావకాశం. కేంద్ర సామాజిక న్యాయం-సాధికార మంత్రిత్వశాఖ ఆధ్వర్యంలో నేషనల్‌ ఎంట్రన్స్‌ టెస్ట్‌ ఫర్‌ శ్రేష్ఠ (SHRESHTA) (NETS) 2024 పథకానికి నేషనల్‌ టెస్టింగ్‌ ఏజెన్సీ (NTA) నోటిఫికేషన్‌ విడుదల చేసింది. ఈ పరీక్షలో అర్హత సాధించిన ప్రతిభావంతులైన ఎస్సీ విద్యార్థులు సీబీఎస్‌ఈ (CBSE) అనుబంధ ప్రముఖ ప్రైవేటు రెసిడెన్షియల్‌ పాఠశాలల్లో 9, 11 తరగతుల్లో ప్రవేశాలకు దరఖాస్తులను ఆహ్వానిస్తున్నారు. షెడ్యూల్డ్‌ కులాలకు చెందిన విద్యార్థులకు నాణ్యమైన విద్యనందించడం ద్వారా వారి సామాజిక, ఆర్థిక అభివృద్ధికి చేయూతనందించే లక్ష్యంతో తీసుకొచ్చిన ఈ శ్రేష్ఠ విద్యా పథకం ద్వారా దేశవ్యాప్తంగా దాదాపు 3వేల సీట్లను భర్తీ చేయనున్నారు.
అర్హతలు:
2023-24 విద్యా సంవత్సరంలో ఎనిమిది, పదో తరగతి చదువుతోన్న విద్యార్థులు ఈ ఎంట్రన్స్‌ పరీక్షకు అర్హులు.  తల్లిదండ్రుల వార్షికాదాయం రూ.2.5 లక్షలకు మించరాదు._*
దరఖాస్తులు:  మార్చి 12 నుంచి ఏప్రిల్‌ 4 సాయంత్రం 5 గంటల వరకు ఆన్‌లైన్‌లో దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవాలి. దరఖాస్తు ఫీజు లేదు. ఏప్రిల్‌ 6 నుంచి 8వ తేదీ వరకు దరఖాస్తుల్లో సవరణలకు అవకాశం_*
_➤మే 24న పరీక్ష నిర్వహిస్తారు. ఆఫ్‌లైన్‌ పరీక్ష (పెన్ను, పేపర్‌ విధానం) ఉంటుంది. మధ్యాహ్నం 2 గంటల నుంచి సాయంత్రం 5 గంటల వరకు 3 గంటల పాటు ఉంటుంది.
*➢మే 12 నుంచి అడ్మిట్‌ కార్డులు డౌన్‌లోడ్‌ చేసుకోవచ్చు.
ఫలితాలు పరీక్ష జరిగిన నాలుగు లేదా ఆరు వారాల్లో ప్రకటిస్తారు.*

*_✍🏻రాతపరీక్ష విధానం: ఈ పరీక్షలో 100 ప్రశ్నలు ఉంటాయి. మ్యాథమెటిక్స్‌, సైన్సు, సోషల్‌సైన్స్‌, జనరల్‌ అవేర్‌నెస్‌/నాలెడ్జ్‌ నుంచి ప్రశ్నలు అడుగుతారు. ఒక్కో ప్రశ్నకు 4 మార్కుల చొప్పున మొత్తం 400 మార్కులకు పరీక్ష ఉంటుంది. నెగెటివ్‌ మార్కులు ఉండవు. ప్రశ్నపత్రం హిందీ, ఇంగ్లిష్‌ భాషల్లో ఉంటుంది. తొమ్మిదో తరగతిలో ప్రవేశానికి పరీక్ష రాసే విద్యార్థులు.. ఎన్‌సీఈఆర్‌టీ సిలబస్‌లో ఎనిమిదో తరగతి సిలబస్‌ చదవాలి. 11వ తరగతిలో ప్రవేశానికి పరీక్ష రాసే విద్యార్థులు ఎన్‌సీఈఆర్‌టీ పదో తరగతి సిలబస్‌ చదవాలి.
