ADMISSIONS INTO 2 YEAR DIPLOMA IN ANIMAL HUSBANDRY COURSE IN ANIMAL HUSBANDRY POLYTECHNICS
తిరుపతిలోని శ్రీ వెంకటేశ్వర వెటర్నరీ విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలోని ప్రభుత్వ మరియు ప్రైవేట్ పాలిటెక్నిక్ కళాశాలల్లో AP వెటర్నరీ పాలిటెక్నిక్ డిప్లొమా కోర్సులు.
ఈ పాలిటెక్నిక్ లలో ప్రవేశముల కొరకు ఆంధ్ర మరియు తెలంగాణాకు చెందిన పదవ తరగతి విద్యార్థులు, దానికి సమానమైన పరీక్షలో ఉత్తీర్ణులైనవారు మరియు ఇంటర్మీడియేట్ ఫెయిలైన వారు కూడా ఈ కోర్సుకు దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవడానికి అర్హులు. ఇంటర్మీడియేట్ పాసైనవారు దానికంటే పై చదువులు చదివినవారు అర్హులు కారు. గత ఏడాది పదవ తరగతి ఉత్తీర్ణులైన విద్యార్థులు కూడా దరఖాస్తు చేసుకొనవచ్చు. పదవ తరగతిలో వచ్చిన మార్కుల ఆధారంగా విద్యార్ధి యొక్క ఎంపిక నిర్ణయించబడును
గ్రామీణప్రాంతాలలోని పాఠశాలలో చదివినవారికి మరియు మునిసిపల్ పరిధి పాఠశాలలో చదివిన వారికి మధ్య 75:25 ప్రాతిపదికన సీట్ల కేటాయింపు జరుగును.
శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వర పశువైద్య విశ్వవిద్యాలయం, తిరుపతి ఆధ్వర్యంలో 10 పశుపోషణ పాలిటెక్నిక్ లలో 300 సీట్లు, 12 ప్రైవేట్ రంగ పాలిటెక్నిక్ లలో 600 సీట్లు అందుబాటులో ఉన్నాయి మరియు మత్స్యశాస్త్ర పాలిటెక్నిక్ లలో 39 సీట్లు మరియు 8 ప్రైవేట్ పాలిటెక్నిక్ లలో 400 సీట్లు అందుబాటు లో ఉన్నాయి.

ELIGIBILITY:
(a) The students who have completed 10th class or equivalent exams are only eligible to apply for the Diploma in Animal Husbandry. The students who have completed intermediate or any other higher studies are not eligible to apply.
(b) The students belonging to General Category and BC should have a minimum of 60% of marks or corresponding grade point average in 10th class.
(c) The students belonging to SC/ST & PH category should have a minimum of 50% of marks or corresponding grade point average in 10th class.
(d) The students who are studying intermediate 1st year and II year are requested to bring a Custodian Certificate from the respective college Principals stating that all the original certificates of the student are present under the college control.
PROCEDURE OF SELECTION:
i) (a) The students are selected for the Diploma course based on the aggregate of marks (or) overall grade point of the students obtained in 10th standard or any other equivalent examination.
(b) In any case 2 or more students attain same aggregate of marks (or) overall grade point average and marks in Science subject are taken into consideration while preparing the merit list.
B] Rule of reservation will be followed as per the rules:
i) 29% seats are allocated to Backward class (BC) candidates. BC-A: 7%, BC-B:10%, BC-C:1%, BC-D:7% and BC-E:4%.
ii) 15% seats are allocated to Scheduled cast (SC) candidates.
iii) 6% seats are allocated to Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.
iv) 33.1/3 % seats are allocated to Girls /Women.
v) 3% seats are allocated to Physically Challenged /Differently Able Candidates.
vi) 2% seats are allocated to Children of Armed Personnel (CAP).
vii) 1% seats are allocated to National Cadet Cops (NCC).
viii) 0.5% seats are allocated to Sports Quota. ix) 10 % supernumerary seats shall be made available to EWS category.
