ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లోని ఉన్నత పాఠశాలలు మరియు జూనియర్ కళాశాలల విద్యార్థుల కోసం గణితశాస్త్రంలో ప్రతిభ శోధన పోటీ.  రెండు గంటల వ్యవధి వ్రాత పరీక్ష రూపం.

ఇది 26 నవంబర్ 2022 శనివారం మధ్యాహ్నం 2 గంటల నుండి 4 గంటల మధ్య జరుగుతుంది. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లోని అన్ని జిల్లాల్లో 200  కేంద్రాలలో Exam.

A Copy of the letter under reference cited is herewith communicated to all the HMs  with instructions to encourage the Students for participation in 49th Mathematics Olympiad 2022 which is going to be conducted on 26th November 2022 (Saturday) between 2 p.m to 4 p.m and report compliance.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PARTICIPATION :
1. Only recognised institutions are eligible to participate in this Olympiad.
2. The sponsoring Institutions are requested to mention or indicate the Board whose recognition or affiliation it has.
3. Only recognised Institutions where the student is on rolls as on 26-11-2022 alone will sponsor students for this Olympiad.
4. Applications sponsored only through recognised institutions and sent as per the proforma given above will be accepted otherwise rejected with out intimation.
5. Individual applications directly from students are not entertained.
6. Participating institutions are requested to enrol as members of APAMT without fail every year end.

“THE XLIX MATHEMATICAL OLYMPIAD 2022”

A talent search competition in Mathematics for students of High Schools and Junior Colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The competition will.be in the form of a written examination of two hours duration. It will be held on Saturday the 26th NOVEMBER 2022 bettween 2 p.m and 4 p.m. at more than 200 different centres in all districts of Andhra Pradesh
2. The competition, is conducted at Six Levels: –
a) Mini – Junior level : Open to students of class V .
b) Sub-Junior Level : Open to all students studying in Vl and Vll classes only.
c) Junior level : Open to all students studying in Vlll and lX classes of the state scheme or of Central Schools or it’s equivalent.
d) Senior Level : Open to all students studying in class X of the state scheme orof Central Schools or it’s equivalent.
e) Intermediate (First Year) : Open to students in First year Intermediate or class XI of CBSE/ISC or it’s equivalent.
f) Intermediate (Second Year) : Open to students in Second year intermediate or Class XII of CBSE/ISC or it’s equivalent.
3. SCOPE OF THE TEST : Since the test is in the nature of a talent competition no special Knowledge of any particular syllabus is required. The test questions would not be primarily any syllabus oriented but of a nature requiring insight, critical approach, logical thinking, the power of application of knowledge in solving problems and a general mathematical maturity appropriate to that level.
4. The question papers will be in English for all the levels . The answer scripts will be supplied at the centres but the candidates will have to bring their own pen and instruments box etc

ENTRANCE FEE FOR FORWARDING OF LIST OF CANDIDATES

a) Mini – Juniors ( V ): Rs. 180/- per candidate b) Sub -Juniors ( Vl & VII ) : Rs. 180/- per candidate.
c) Junior level (VIII & IX ) : Rs. 180/- per candidate d) Senior Level (X) : Rs. 180/- per candidate.
e) Inter 1st Year Level : Rs. 180/- per candidate. f) Inter 2nd year level : Rs.180/- per candidate

5. MODE OF REMITTANCE OF ENTRY FEE :

The entry fee should be sent through Account payee Crossed Bank Draft (Postal Orders not accepted) drawn in favour of Secretary A.P. Association of Mathematics Teachers (APAMT) Hyderabad. Two copies of the list of students, separatly level wise along with the covering letter should be sent.
The entrance fee along with the list of candidates (in duplicate) as per proforma enclosed should reach the Secretary APAMT, by Mail on or before 15th September 202 Nominal roll Sheets should be sent, separately for Senior level, Junior , Sub-Junior Level,Mini – Junior, First Year / Second year Intermediate categories and for different media and also separately for boys and girls in Senior classes XI/XII.
7. AWARDS AND CERTIFICATES :

The results of the test will be published in the official journal of the APAMT and the PRESS. Gold Medals will be awarded to the best candidates who top the list at different levels. Further prizes will be awarded to the best candidates at each level apart from the merit certificates to the participants who come up to certain level expected by the evaluation board.
Special prizes are also being instituted for the district best at each level. Secondly rolling shields are being awarded to the Institutions for maximum participation at each level. The prize winners and the Principal or Head of the Mathematics Department of the Institution for maximum participation will be the guest of honour of APAMT and will be felicitated at a special function to be organized for this
purpose .
8. It will be very much appreciated if you kindly extend your co-operation by encouraging the talented students of your institution to participate in the competition in large numbers
9. May I request you to renew membership of APAMT for the current year without fail at the earliest and also encourage other new institutions to enrol as members. The revised membership subscriptions are as follows :
i) Individual Membership Rs.200+10=210 annually
ii) Institutional Membership Rs.500+10=510 annually
iii) Associate Membership Rs.1000+10=1010 annually
iv) Life Membership Rs.6000/- (For Life)
v) Donor Membership Rs.8,000/- (For life)
vi) Patron Members Rs.10,000/- (For life)
10. BACK PAPERS :

Back Papers of the Mathematical Olympiads held in the previous years could be availed on sending Rs.80/- for each level together with a postal expenditure of Rs. 40/- on the following Address :
