SCHEME OF “BEGUM HAZRAT MAHAL NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP” FOR MERITORIOUS GIRL STUDENTS BELONGING TO THE MINORITY COMMUNITIES
Scholarships: మైనారిటీ బాలికల కోసం బేగం హజ్రత్‌ మహల్‌ స్కాలర్‌షిప్‌
AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIP Amount of scholarship will be provided Rs.5000/each for Class IX & X and Rs.6000/-each for Class XI & XII.
ప్రతిభ కలిగిన మైనారిటీ బాలికల చదువును ప్రోత్సహించేందుకు కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం బేగం హజ్రత్‌ మహల్‌ స్కాలర్‌షిప్‌ పథకం అమలు చేస్తోంది. ఢిల్లీలోని మౌలానా అజాద్‌ ఎడ్యుకేషన్‌ ఫౌండేషన్‌ ఈ స్కాలర్‌షిప్స్‌ను అందిస్తోంది. ఇది కేంద్ర మైనారిటీ వ్యవహారాల మంత్రిత్వశాఖ ఆధ్వర్యంలో పనిచేస్తోంది.
అర్హతలు
తొమ్మిది, పది, ఇంటర్‌ మొదటి, రెండో ఏడాది చదువున్న మైనారిటీ (ముస్లింలు, క్రిస్టియన్లు, సిక్కులు, బౌద్దులు, జైనులు, పార్సీలు) బాలికలు ఈ స్కాలర్‌షిప్‌ దరఖాస్తుకు అర్హులు. కుటుంబ వార్షికాదాయం రెండు లక్షలకు మించకుండా ఉండాలి. అకడమిక్‌ మెరిట్‌ పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకొని ఎంపిక చేస్తారు. చదువు మ«ధ్యలో మానేసిన వారు, కేంద్ర రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాల ఇతర స్కాలర్‌షిప్స్‌ పొందేవారు అనర్హులు.
నేరుగా ఖాతాకే
ఈ స్కాలర్‌షిప్స్‌కు ఎంపికైన తొమ్మిది, పదో తరగతి విద్యార్థులకు సంవత్సరానికి రూ.5000, అలాగే 11, 12 తరగతి చదివే విద్యార్థులకు సంవత్సరానికి రూ.6000 స్కాలర్‌షిప్‌గా అందిస్తారు. విద్యార్థి బ్యాంక్‌ ఖాతాలోకి నేరుగా సదరు మొత్తాన్ని జమచేస్తారు. దరఖాస్తు విధానం: ఆన్‌లైన్‌ విధానంలో దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవాలి.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
(i) Only girl students belonging to six notified Minority Communities i.e. Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and Parsis are eligible.
(ii) Scholarship will be awarded to minorities’ girl students who are studying in Class 9th to 12th, and have secured at-least 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate in previous class/qualifying exam.
(iii) Annual income of student’s parent/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.00 lakh.
(iv) An Income certificate, issued from a Competent Authority in the State/UTs Governments is required in respect of parent/guardian of the student.
(v) A self-Certified community Certificate is required from a student who has attained 18 years of age. For others the Community Certificate certified parent/guardian of the student is required.
